Growth and Sales Operations Manager

We’ve already saved over 60 years of research across 42 countries and played a part in saving thousands of lives with our COVID-19 work in the past year.  We are a fully remote company with driven team members based in seven countries and counting.

We're looking for a Growth and Sales Operations Manager. In this role, you will be one of the most important pieces for our overall readiness to scale our client footprint. You’ll own our key growth metrics, our continuous growth experimentation programs, and be responsible for designing our go-to-market playbooks and presentation materials. We’re looking for a blend of strong analytical thinking, data design principles and creativity. We’re depending on you to refine our overall client targeting strategy. This will require the ability to understand our clients organizational structure, partnership motives and decision making processes.

We expect this person to have advanced excel skills (e.g. can put together excel models without using a mouse, advanced knowledge of keyboard shortcuts), powerpoint presentation development skills and is able to build data visualizations across different tools. The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about supporting our clients and determined to help us improve people’s lives through research.


Some of the key activities will include:

  • Owning our sales and marketing materials and processes
  • Owning our relationship management processes to develop key internal champions at client organizations (High EQ plays a big role here)
  • Continuously deepening the understanding the needs of our clients (CROs, Pharma and Biotech clinical trial teams) and our market
  • Create personas tied to specific customer needs and preferences based on current customer data and new growth opportunities
  • Applying analytical skills to understand how our business can contribute to success in various therapeutic areas (we already have a lot of strong case studies)
  • Experience owning and refining client ICPs based on psychographic/decision making processes
  • CRM Management Experience (Hubspot or equivalent)
  • Will own our process to qualify market and sales leads based on client psychographic indicators and organizational decision making processes (e.g. which function makes decisions and how they do it)

Experience requirements:

  • 2-3 years as a strategy consultant / management consultant or 5+ years of sales or growth operations experience with enterprise clients
  • Experience owning a dynamic lead qualification strategy, ICP and sales strategy 
  • Expert level excel and powerpoint skills
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with data visualization tools and BI tools
  • Biotech/drug development knowledge is a plus
  • Experience co-founding a startup or as an early employee (employee 1-5) is a strong preference
